Duties:

• Driving & Delivering: Operate articulated HGVs (over 3.5 tonnes) for local and national DC deliveries, including single and double-deck trailers and cage work. Mainly trunking work with occasional handball/cage work.
• Route Planning: Plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries, adapting to traffic and weather conditions.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with site personnel and provide excellent customer service.
• Compliance: Follow all road safety regulations and company procedures, including vehicle checks and reporting defects.

Requirements:

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• A minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• A good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• A positive attitude and a commitment to safe, efficient driving
