Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued

  • Days £16.00
  • Night Out Allowance £25.00 per night (where applicable)

Estimated weekly pay £720 based on 45 hrs, plus Night Out Allowance where applicable

The role:

  • Temp-to-Perm opportunity with regular, ongoing work.
  • Start times between 05:00 and 06:00.
  • Deliver garage doors nationwide to independent businesses and consumers using a box/drop-body vehicle.
  • Safely secure loads using appropriate load-restraint equipment, including ratchet straps.
  • Position and drop/remove the load box at designated delivery bays where required, following the correct site and vehicle procedures.
  • Unload deliveries using the vehicle’s tail lift and dolly. A good level of physical fitness is required, as the role involves regular manual handling and manoeuvring of large garage doors.
  • Complete comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks, ensuring the vehicle remains safe and roadworthy.
  • Maintain regular communication with the transport team, providing updates to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Undertake long-distance driving and nights out where required.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK HGV Class 2 licence
  • A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence
  • Minimum experience, 6 Months
  • Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules
