HGV Class 2 Drivers

Rates of Pay

£16.00 per hour all hours worked

H&G are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Corby This is full time opportunity with Ad Hoc day shifts available.

Day to Day duties

  • Between 05:00-06:00 start
  • 8-9 drops per day
  • Class 2 curtain side
  • Manual handling – few light loose items, nothing heavy. Everything else is palletised and taken off by the store FLT.
  • Microlise tracking system is used in all vehicles and scores driving performance. Would aim for all drivers to sit at a score of B or better
  • Must be reliable and willing to be spoken to about performance and other areas.

The ideal person to join our team will have

  • HGV Class 2
  • 6 months relevant experience
  • Full HGV C licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
  • A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Customer focused attitude
