HGV Class 2 Drivers
Rates of Pay
£16.00 per hour all hours worked
H&G are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Corby This is full time opportunity with Ad Hoc day shifts available.
Day to Day duties
- Between 05:00-06:00 start
- 8-9 drops per day
- Class 2 curtain side
- Manual handling – few light loose items, nothing heavy. Everything else is palletised and taken off by the store FLT.
- Microlise tracking system is used in all vehicles and scores driving performance. Would aim for all drivers to sit at a score of B or better
- Must be reliable and willing to be spoken to about performance and other areas.

The ideal person to join our team will have
- HGV Class 2
- 6 months relevant experience
- Full HGV C licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
- Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
- A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Customer focused attitude
