RATES:
- HGV Class 1 AM starts: £17.00 PAYE with holiday accrued - £19.05 inclusive of holiday pay
- PM Starts: £18.00 PAYE with holiday accrued - £20.74 inclusive of holiday pay
- Saturday AM: £18.00 PAYE with holiday accrued - £20.74 inclusive of holiday pay
- Sunday Bank Holiday: £19.50 PAYE with holiday accrued - £21.85 inclusive of holiday pay
Estimated weekly pay based on 55 hours PAYE - £935 Rolled up - £1048
Expected annual earnings PAYE - £48,620 and Rolled up - £54,496.
DUTIES:
- Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- Using curtain sided vehicles, ensure all sides are safely strapped.
- 2-3 deliveries in a day, depending on geographical location.
- UK wide deliveries averaging an 11 hour shift per day.
- Use of pallet truck when required and assisting with deliveries involving pallets and cages.
- Securing load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
- Always provide excellent customer service and take ownership of customer issues on delivery.
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries within the delivery window in a safe manner.
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary.
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills.
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised.
- Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service.
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work.
