HG Recruitment are recruiting HGV 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Grays on a long term/temp to perm basis. You will be required to carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, with a maximum of 8 drops per day. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using a tail lift, ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day-to-day basis. Start times are from 16:00 to 01:00.

Pay Rates:

  • Pre-parity £15.86 - £35.60 PAYE | £17.77 - £39.89 (including holiday)
  • Parity £16.61 - £44.50 PAYE | £18.61 - £49.87 (including holiday)

The Requirements:

  • HGV 2 license (New Pass welcome but 6 months desirable)
  • HGV 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
  • A good understanding of drivers' hours, regulations, and working time directive
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Customer focused attitude
