We are looking to recruit 2 x full-time Food Production Operatives and packers with experience in the food industry, based in Wigan. Join HG Recruitment and benefit from competitive pay, weekly wages and ongoing shifts with our established client.

Pay Rates: with holiday pay accrued

  • Days £12.71 per hour
  • Overtime is paid at time and a half at £19.65 per hour

The role:

  • Preparing and assembling food products according to company procedures and guidelines
  • Operating machinery and equipment to produce food products
  • Ensuring that all products are of the required quality standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Following safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Start time is 8am until 5pm. Manual handling required & handballing food products. Temp-to-perm work. Minimum 40 hours paid per shift.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred, but not essential
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to stand up for long periods of time
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
