The role

  • Payroll (CIS): Cross-referencing weekly time sheets with attendance registers.
  • Addressing discrepancies with line managers.
  • Handling deductions and notifications.
  • Generating weekly CIS payments reports.
  • Notifying payroll of new starters and leavers.
  • Completing cross check monthly PAYE attendance reports.

General Administration:

  • Managing the sign-in book.
  • Updating attendance registers daily.
  • Support with pension administration.
  • Support with benefits administration.
  • Support the team leader with confidential information for payroll advice meetings.

Holidays and Sickness:

  • Logging holiday requests.
  • Maintaining holiday calendars.

Skills & Experience - Essential

  • Payroll administration experience.
  • Strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Confidential and trustworthy.

Desirable

  • CIPP qualification or working towards.
  • CIS payroll experience.
  • Construction or utilities sector experience.
  • Experience supporting HR administration.
