HG Recruitment are looking for HGV Drivers Class 1 and Class 2 for ongoing work involving a mixture of multidrop and trunking work for our client based in Crewe. The role involves clean and straightforward delivery to distribution centres, working for a well-established parcel delivery company.

Class 1 Driver days £15.11 or £16.93 (approx.), Class 1 Driver nights £16.62 or £18.63 (approx.), Class 2 Driver days £14.60 or £16.36 (approx.), Class 2 Driver nights £16.35 or £18.32 (approx.).

Driving and Delivering: Operate articulated lorries (HGVs) over 3.5 tonnes, transporting goods to various locations, including local and national deliveries.

Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure that all items are secured properly for transit, minimising the risk of damage.

Route Planning: Plan delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations, adapting to traffic and weather conditions as necessary.

Maintain regular contact with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.

Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.

HGV C+E (Class 1 or Class 2) licence required.
