SHIFTS: Days
RATES:
- (HGV Class 1) Days: Monday to Friday Days £16.80 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) / £18.53 per hour (Holiday pay included)
- Saturday & Sunday Nights £17.50 per hour (Holiday pay accrued) / £19.61 per hour (Holiday pay included)
DUTIES:
- Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles in accordance with road traffic laws and company procedures.
- Ensure all loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
- Complete delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and electronic records accurately.
- Plan routes efficiently to maximise productivity and meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain regular communication with transport planners and traffic offices regarding delivery progress and delays.
- Load and unload vehicles where required, using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques.
- Follow company policies relating to security, transport compliance, and operational procedures.
- Assist with depot operations and other transport-related duties when required.
