HG Recruitment are recruiting Class 1 Trunking Drivers on behalf of a leading national manufacturer and logistics operation. Professional HGV C+E drivers are required to APPLY NOW for their operation based in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan (CF62 3ZR). This is a trunking operation moving palletised products between manufacturing and distribution sites. This is a Monday to Friday ongoing role with consistent start times and secure long-term work.

Duties
- Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times.
- Securing loads (strapping and curtain work required outdoors).
- Completing trunking deliveries between manufacturing and distribution locations.
- Trailer swaps and vehicle movements as required.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
- Providing a professional and reliable service.
- Following all Working Time Directive and Driver Hours regulations.

- Confident reversing skills, including blind-side manoeuvres.
