School Cleaner Taunton £14.00 per hour | Part-Time Evenings | 5:00pm Start Taunton, Somerset TA1 1HE Special Educational Needs School HG Recruitment is currently recruiting part-time School Cleaners in Taunton to support a Special Educational Needs School.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable individuals looking for regular evening work within a professional school environment.
Pay Working Hours £14.00 per hour Part-time evening position with a 5:00pm start , working approximately 23 hours per shift .
The role operates in line with the school calendar , including standard summer, half-term and school holiday breaks.
The Role You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment throughout the school.
Duties will include: Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and facilities Vacuuming, mopping and general floor cleaning Cleaning and sanitising surfaces Emptying bins and managing waste Cleaning washrooms and toilet facilities Using cleaning equipment and products safely Following COSHH, Health Safety and site procedures Completing allocated duties within scheduled hours Requirements As this role is based within a Special Educational Needs School, applicants will require an Enhanced DBS .
You should also be reliable, punctual and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
Previous commercial or school cleaning experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
Training Support Successful candidates will receive a site induction, COSHH training, relevant equipment and procedural training, and ongoing operational support.
