Fabrication Welder position available in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent contract.
We are seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our client's team on a temporary to permanent, shop-based basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder with strong fabrication experience to work on a variety of general steelwork and vessel projects.
Working hours: 7am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 7am - 12pm. Overtime is paid after 42 hours at time and a half.
- Carry out MIG welding on a range of fabrication projects
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment
- Proven experience as a fabrication welder
- Previous coding in MIG butt and fillet welding
- Strong background in general steelwork fabrication
- Competent welding both mild steel and stainless steel
- Reliable, self-motivated, and quality-focused
