HG Recruitment are recruiting for 2-3 Van Driver / Installers in partnership with our client based in Leyland, Lancashire. We are seeking experienced 2-3 Van Drivers / Installers to join our client's well-established team on a full-time basis. This role is based in Leyland; however, your area to cover on a daily basis will be across the North West. Some overnight stays may be involved occasionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, long-term ongoing work and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Working hours are: Monday to Friday, start and finish times vary. 55 hours per week. No weekends unless overtime is available.

Key Responsibilities:
- Completing between 8 - 10 drops per day.
- Delivering flat pack furniture, desks and cabinets across locations throughout the North West and UK
- Handball duties due to the nature of the goods, will involve some heavy lifting
- Fitting and installing delivered items on-site where required
- Labouring tasks and removing packing and cardboard waste.
- Communicating effectively with customers and the transport team
- Providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
- Ensuring goods are handled safely and securely throughout delivery
Essential Skills:
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum of 12 months van driving experience
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items
- Positive attitude with a flexible approach to work
