HG are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Hemel Hempstead on a long term/temp to perm basis. Start times will be from 22:00-00:00 with no Saturday night working.

Rates:

  • HGV Class 1: £16.81, up to £28.29 per hour (Pre Parity)
  • £16.81, up to £47.15 per hour (Parity)
  • HGV Class 2: £16.24-£20.71 per hour

You will be required to carry out a maximum of 3 deliveries of palletised goods in any one shift. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift & either a manual or electric pump truck, ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis.

The Role:

  • Maximum of 3 drops/collections per day for Class 1 or max. 12 for Class 2.
  • Loading and unloading vehicle.

The Requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence
  • New Pass Welcome
  • HGV licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
  • Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
  • A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Customer focused attitude.
