We are recruiting professional CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS for our GXO SAINSBURY'S site in WALTHAM ABBEY. If you're looking for stable, well-paid work (Guaranteed 9.6 Hours per shift) with flexible shifts and long-term opportunities, this role could be for you!
You’ll be responsible for trunking and store deliveries, supporting the wider network by delivering ambient, chilled, and frozen goods. High standards of compliance and professionalism are a must.

Driver Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 12 months experience
- Maximum of 6 points on your licence (minor endorsements only)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Driver CPC
- Strong understanding of Drivers Hours, Working Time Directive road transport regulations
- Ability to adhere to strict site and store risk assessments
- Knowledge of using Microlise is a plus
- No Sat Nav use - must have strong route planning and geographical knowledge
- Be aware of any vehicle defects and bring to the attention of Transport Office as necessary
- Possess excellent customer facing awareness skills
- Be a good timekeeper and be able to work unsupervised
- Possess an enthusiastic and reliable attitude towards delivering first class customer service
- Must have good communication skills and a flexible can-do attitude to work
