Reporting to the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting operational decision‑making. You’ll work closely with managers and clinicians across our services to help them understand their numbers, plan effectively, and make financially sound choices that improve patient care. This is a true business partnering role where you’ll go beyond reporting to become a trusted advisor. You’ll help teams build financial understanding, identify opportunities for efficiency, and translate complex information into actionable insights. If you enjoy variety, influencing change, and making a tangible difference through your work, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing accurate, timely monthly management accounts and insightful financial reports.
  • Partnering with managers and clinicians to improve decision‑making and promote financial responsibility.
  • Leading annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for assigned business areas.
  • Supporting operational teams to develop and deliver cost improvement and efficiency plans.
  • Providing financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to support strategic and operational priorities.
  • Coaching and supporting managers to build their financial understanding and commercial acumen.
  • Working with the wider finance team to continually improve systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Taking part in cross‑functional projects and supporting the Deputy CFO as required.

About You

You’re a confident communicator who can turn numbers into stories and insights. You enjoy collaborating with people at all levels and helping others use financial information to make great decisions. We’re looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Experienced in management accounting or business partnering, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • Highly skilled in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and confident working with financial systems.
  • Analytical, proactive, and able to balance detail with big‑picture thinking.
  • Capable of building strong, trusted relationships with both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
  • A clear and engaging communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Organised and able to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience in healthcare, public sector, or social enterprise settings is an advantage, but what’s most important is your curiosity, initiative, and desire to make a difference.

Why IC24?

We’re a major not‑for‑profit Social Enterprise delivering innovative, high‑quality healthcare services across the South and East of England. Every penny we make is reinvested into our services, our people, and the communities we serve.

At IC24, you’ll find:

  • Opportunities to shape how finance partners with operations and delivers insight that drives improvement.
  • A leadership team that values collaboration, trust, and a sense of fun.
  • The chance to make a real impact on the way healthcare services are delivered and sustained.

Additional Information

  • Location: Ashford, with hybrid working (minimum two office days per week, including Mondays).
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Salary: ÂŁ60,466 - ÂŁ63,860 per annum.
  • Benefits: Additional annual leave above the statutory minimum based on service, opportunity to join the NHS Pension Scheme, free 24/7 independent counselling service, ongoing learning and development opportunities, access to Blue Light Card and NHS Discount Schemes, membership to our reward and discount platform.
