The Multi Skilled Static Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the operation, repair, and maintenance of the site. The successful candidate will report to the Contract Manager. Experienced or newly qualified commercial electrician to join our expanding team in Central Square Leeds. The successful candidate will have experience working on a variety of commercial sites and systems.
You must be capable of diagnosing and fixing faults, completing repairs and minor installations/upgrades, and EICR's, as this will mostly comprise your daily tasks. You must also be computer literate, able to learn and use client reporting portals, and complete electrical certification accurately. You will require minimal supervision, be flexible to accommodate workloads, present yourself with a smart appearance, exhibit a can-do attitude, and uphold a strong safety culture.
Main Duties
- Practical and flexible approach to work, with ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
- Understanding of basic plumbing or HVAC systems
- Experience with BEMS systems
- Resourceful and self-motivated
- Logical approach to fault-finding
- Ability to read schematic drawings
- Team player able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Self-initiative to resolve issues
- Complete required reports on the company's CAFM system
Qualifications
- Recognised trade qualification in the engineering sector; electrical, plumbing, engineering and ideally qualified to the 18th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations
- Full UK driving licence

- Asbestos Awareness
- Manual Handling, Working at Height, Safe use of Steps and Ladders
- First aid qualification
- IPAF / Pasma qualification
- Recognised apprenticeship preferred but not essential
