As we continue to grow, we're always looking for high-quality Account Executives to join the team. We now have a rare opportunity for a skilled Account Executive to join our team in the Preston / Lancashire region to take over a stable client portfolio and grow it further. The client portfolio is in excess of £250,000 income, and you'll be supporting in growing this further by both the office leadership team and the account handling team.

On a Day-to-day Basis You'll Be:

  • Assisting clients with renewals (including visits), MTA's, coverage queries and new business enquiries
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with the Account Handling, Administrative and Management teams
  • Actively reviewing clients' files to ensure documentation and coverage is correct
  • Assisting the Senior team with MI
  • Meeting and exceeding retention targets
  • Working collaboratively with the other Account Executives to achieve growth targets
  • Ensuring Acturis is kept up to date and accurate
  • Where required, negotiating with underwriters on larger cases to ensure clients receive the best terms

About You:

  • You’ll have a proven track record as an Account Executive and be looking for somewhere to put down roots and grow over the next 5-10 years
  • A solid grounding across commercial insurance products including EL, PL, Property, Motor (inc. Fleet)
  • A strong skill set that includes high-level communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, stakeholder management, sales, influencing and IT Skills
  • Be comfortable utilizing broking platforms (Acturis preferably)
  • A full driving licence is also required due to the nature of the locations of our clients
