Salary: £302 per day
Schedule: 3 or 4 day Long Days and Sleep in Personal Assistant
About the Role:
You’ll provide one-to-one assistance to help a client live an independent and fulfilling lifestyle. This includes personal care, mobility support, and assistance with travel and everyday logistics.
- Hands‑on manual handling experience – prior experience with manual handling is ideal.
- Good core strength – some tasks may involve lone manual handling, so good physical strength is required.
- Competent and confident driver – you must hold a valid driver’s licence and feel confident operating a large, wheelchair‑accessible van.
Key Responsibilities
- Discreet and respectful personal care support
- Assistance with mobility and daily routines
- Accompanying to work, university, exhibitions and social events
- Supporting with trips in the UK and abroad
- Supporting time and energy management for work, study, and social life
- Light housekeeping, healthy meal prep, and medication reminders
- Being a calm, capable, tidy, and thoughtful presence
What We’re Looking For
- A confident, proactive and adaptable individual with excellent organisational skills
- Experience for the role is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Good spoken and written English
- A strong sense of discretion and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to work on a rotational basis to be agreed (i.e. 2 weeks on/2 weeks off)
- Happy to travel and enjoy a changing routine
- Must have the right to work in the UK and a passport that allows travel to mainland Europe without needing a visa.
