At HFH Healthcare we meet the growing need for complex care by providing specialist nurse-led services to adults & children in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, working in partnership with NHS Continuing Healthcare teams, our enhanced level of specialist clinical support, enables people to remain at home even when the level of healthcare required is highly complex. We deliver care 24-hour a day, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

  • We are recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable carers for day or night shifts, including weekends, within the London area. 2 weeks On / 2 weeks Off Live-In shifts available.
  • Provide care to adults and children in the home, with complex care needs, as part of HFH Healthcare\'s nurse-led services.
  • Deliver care in cooperation with NHS Continuing Healthcare teams; work in partnership to enable people to remain at home even when healthcare is highly complex.
  • Carry out client-specific care tasks in line with training, including:
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Invasive and non-invasive ventilation management
  • Airway suctioning
  • Cough assist
  • Autonomic Dysreflexia management
  • Oxygen therapy and monitoring
  • Bowel management
  • Enteral feeding
  • Epilepsy and seizure management
  • Catheter care
  • Complex medication administration
  • Behaviours which challenge
  • Complex moving and positioning

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 6 months of previous care experience preferable; full training, supervision and support provided to all successful candidates.
  • You must be over 18 to apply.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility on travel; some shifts may require driving or access to public transport.
  • A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration.

  • We employ all staff directly and manage pay via PAYE, not through Limited Company or Self-employed status, protecting you from IR35 regulations.
  • Pay is inclusive of holiday pay; rates vary by shift pattern.
