Eligibility: Applicants must be over 18, have the right to work in the UK, have or can obtain an enhanced DBS, and be able to work more than 24 hours a week. Schedule:
- Day shifts: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Night shifts: 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Client Overview: The client is a man who is non-verbal and has quadriplegic cerebral palsy with dystonic movements. He lives at home with his close family and two pet dogs. All clinical needs are effectively managed in the home environment. He requires support from a tracheostomy-ventilator experienced carer to ensure his safety and wellbeing at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care for the client, ensuring safety, wellbeing and management of his tracheostomy and ventilator needs.
- Assist with activities of daily living, monitoring health status, and maintaining a safe home environment.
Requirements:
- Tracheostomy experience.
- Over 18 years of age.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS requirement (can be applied for on registration).
