What we are looking for
We are looking for compassionate, committed individuals with tracheostomy experience who can care for a young man diagnosed with hypoxic brain injury. The client is non-verbal and requires a tracheostomy and 24-hour ventilation with humidification due to his condition. He relies on his caregivers to make day-to-day decisions regarding his holistic care needs.
What HFH offers
- Hourly pay rates range between £13 - £14 per hour.
- Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefits from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
- Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12 hours.
- Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability; as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36 hours) per week and earns £500 - £555 per week.
- The regular working patterns mean this three-day-a-week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950.
- We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This protects you from IR35 tax concerns.
