Salary: £100-£135 a day

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable live-in carer to support a gentleman in his early 60s living in Westminster. The client has a spinal cord injury and requires assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care, including bowel management every other day (training can be provided if needed)
  • Assisting with transfers and mobility
  • Supporting daily routines, including dressing, hygiene, and meal preparation
  • Ensuring comfort, safety, and wellbeing at all times
  • Light household duties related to the client's care

A double-up carer attends for a few hours each day to assist with more complex care tasks. The ideal candidate will be patient, respectful, and attentive, with a positive and professional approach. Experience with spinal cord injuries and bowel care is desirable but not essential.

What HFH offers: Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff. Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift duration is 12hrs. Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - £555 p/wk*. The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three-day-a-week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950*. We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status.
