We are seeking a compassionate and reliable carer to support a Somali man in his late 40s living in Hounslow. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with complex health needs and be able to communicate using sign language, as the client is deaf. He also has a tracheostomy and uses a nebuliser at times; experience with these is a bonus, however training could be given if experience matches.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing daily personal care and support
- Assisting with tracheostomy care (training/experience preferred)
- Supporting the use of a nebuliser when required
- Communicating effectively using sign language
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing
The successful candidate should be patient, attentive, and respectful of cultural needs. Previous care experience is essential; relevant clinical training is highly desirable.
