The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Premium Processing Technician to join a growing operations team.

This role will act as the senior technical point of contact for premium processing, providing guidance to a team of junior technicians while ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of Lloyd's market business.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high technical standards, resolving processing queries and supporting the continued development of the premium processing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process premium transactions accurately across Lloyd's and Company Market business.
  • Prepare and submit LPANs, APSs, RPs and other London Market documentation.
  • Handle Xchanging (XIS/Velonetic) submissions, including bordereaux processing.
  • Process binder and delegated authority submissions.
  • Resolve technical processing queries from brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all processing is completed in line with Lloyd's market procedures and internal controls.
  • Act as a technical mentor and escalation point for junior members of the premium processing team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and support operational efficiency.

About You

  • Around 5+ years' experience in a Lloyd's Market premium processing role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xchanging/XIS processes.
  • Hands-on experience with LPANs, APSs, RPs, binder submissions and bordereaux.
  • Excellent understanding of London Market premium processing procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys supporting and developing less experienced colleagues.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently within a collaborative team.
