- Take responsibility for the handling of Property Binder claims and provide mentoring and support to junior Property Claims Underwriters where appropriate.
- Work closely with and support the Underwriting teams whose claims you handle, including providing regular updates and renewal information where required.
- Work closely with brokers and clients to resolve claims effectively and efficiently.

- Oversee the outsourced review and processing of monthly financial bordereaux, including appropriate triage to Claims Managers and Claims Underwriters where agreed criteria are met. Ensure bordereaux remain up to date and elevate any issues to the Head of Claims Operations & Analytics, Claims Managers, Binder Authority Team and Underwriters.
- Ensure the internal CAT plan is implemented and adhered to where required.
- Review loss fund adequacy and support the Claims Operations function with the recovery of loss funds relating to prior years.

This may include maintaining the control framework for delegated claims authority, agreeing and updating DCA Service Level Agreements, ensuring appropriate MI is submitted regularly, and ensuring work undertaken on the company's behalf is appropriately peer reviewed, audited and compliant with all applicable regulations.
