Key Responsibilities- Partner with senior stakeholders across underwriting and leadership teams to provide financial insight and strategic support
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Deliver performance analysis across products, portfolios, and operational areas
- Support business cases, scenario modelling, and strategic growth initiatives
- Drive profitability analysis and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance
- Produce and present senior management and Board-level reporting
- Maintain strong financial governance, controls, and reporting accuracy
- Support regulatory reporting requirements where required
- Lead process improvement and finance transformation initiatives focused on reporting, automation, and data quality
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience
- Background within insurance
- Strong commercial finance or financial controls experience, ideally with exposure to business partnering
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and financial modelling capability
- Strong understanding of governance, reporting, and financial control frameworks
- Confident influencing and challenging senior stakeholders
- Experience working within fast-paced, commercially focused environments
- Strong systems and reporting tool experience with a continuous improvement mindset
