New Role: Senior Claims Adjuster - Property D&F Lloyd's Syndicate City of London
I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their Property D&F team on a 12M FTC basis.
This role will be adjusting Property D&F Claims on a global basis, from first notice to settlement.
My client is looking for someone with Property D&F Claims experience within the London/Lloyd's Market, ECF experience is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of International Property Direct & Facultative (D&F) claims from first notification through to settlement and closure, applying the appropriate level of expertise to assess coverage, liability, quantum and claims strategy.
- Maintain accurate and timely reserves in line with established claims reserving philosophies, standards and referral protocols.
- Liaise effectively with key stakeholders throughout the claims lifecycle, including policyholders, brokers, co-insurers, actuaries, underwriters and other relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with claims best practice, service standards and communication requirements through effective use of claims systems, reporting and file audits.
- Instruct and manage external loss adjusters, legal counsel and other service providers in accordance with approved panel arrangements and claims handling guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with underwriting, business development teams and external clients to support effective claims management and enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain accurate, well-documented claim files and ensure high standards of record keeping throughout the claims process.
- Deliver a professional, customer-focused claims service while adhering to organisational values, codes of conduct and regulatory requirements.
