I'm working on a Reinsurance Pricing Actuary opportunity within a specialist actuarial team, offering a great combination of pricing, modelling and technical development. The role will have a particular focus on treaty pricing, developing and maintaining models within Python and Tyche, alongside broader actuarial analysis and model development. You'll also work closely with underwriting, exposure and specialist teams to improve the modelling of complex risks and support wider business decision-making.

Key areas of the role include:

  • Treaty pricing and pricing model development
  • Building and enhancing models using Python & Tyche
  • Model validation, sensitivity analysis and governance
  • Developing and improving existing actuarial tools and processes
  • Working closely with underwriting and exposure teams
  • Applying statistical techniques to the modelling of complex and specialist risks

We're looking for:

  • FIA qualified actuary
  • Strong actuarial modelling and analytical experience
  • Background ideally within GI, reinsurance, pricing, capital or exposure/risk modelling
  • Strong Excel/VBA skills
  • An interest in coding and developing technical modelling capabilities
  • Reinsurance experience and knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
