We are currently partnering with a leading Insurance firm to find a diligent and eloquent Management Accountant for a 2-3 month contract.
The Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation of the monthly management accounts, ensuring everything is 'review-ready' for the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Managing the ledger through to Trial Balance.
- Producing detailed Income Statements.
- Handling fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, revenue entries, and expense bookings.
- Performing robust Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Proactively engaging with internal stakeholders to gather data and resolve queries.
The Profile
We are looking for a candidate who is not just technically sound, but a confident communicator who knows how to navigate a corporate structure. Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with relevant experience. Previous experience within the Insurance sector is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains, Concur, and advanced Excel skills. Comfortable working in a Windows 11 environment. You must be presentable, eloquent, and assertive. You know when to push for information and exactly when to escalate issues rather than letting them sit.
