We are working with a leading international (re)insurance group to hire an Actuary / Accountant into their Financial Planning & Strategy team. This role offers broad exposure across capital planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making, working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
This position sits at the heart of the organisation's capital and financial planning function, supporting both BAU reporting and strategic initiatives including capital optimisation and M&A activity.
Key responsibilities:- Support financial and capital planning, including forecasting reserves, capital requirements, and surplus generation
- Deliver regular capital reporting to senior management and Board-level stakeholders
- Perform scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess drivers of solvency and capital position
- Monitor capital capacity in relation to strategic activity, including transactions and portfolio changes
- Contribute to business planning and Own Risk & Solvency Assessment (ORSA) processes
- Support the development and enhancement of financial planning models and management information
- Assist in analysing and implementing capital optimisation strategies (e.g. reinsurance, capital structure)
- Provide analytical support on strategic projects and wider team initiatives
Salary: £70,000 - £100,000
