An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially focused Head of FP&A to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed business. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting and strategic analysis across the Group. Working closely with the CFO and Executive team, you will provide high-quality financial insight to support decision‑making, improve performance and drive long‑term value creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group FP&A function and develop a best‑in‑class financial planning and reporting capability.
- Deliver budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis across the business.
- Produce high‑quality Board and Executive reporting with clear, actionable insight.
- Develop and embed KPI reporting, dashboards and analytics to improve commercial decision‑making.
- Drive automation and reporting improvements, including wider use of Power BI and BI tools.
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to identify risks, opportunities and performance improvements.
- Lead scenario analysis, strategic modelling and business planning activities.
- Support M&A activity including acquisition analysis, integration and synergy tracking.
- Build and develop a high‑performing FP&A team and strengthen business partnering across the Group.
Candidate Profile
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
- Proven FP&A leadership experience within a PE‑backed, high‑growth or complex business environment.
- Strong commercial finance, financial modelling and analytical capability.
- Experience delivering Board‑level reporting and presenting financial insight to senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, KPIs and performance management.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence at Executive level.
- Hands‑on, commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment.
