Finance Director
A market-leading international broking business, renowned for its integrity, innovation, and outstanding service delivery, is seeking an exceptional Finance Director to join its senior leadership team. Operating across multiple jurisdictions and time zones, the company continues to scale its global presence while remaining at the forefront of its sector.
This role represents a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a complex, multinational financial function, supporting operations that span capital-intensive assets, international trading activity, and dynamic regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK finance function and provide oversight for international entities across key operational hubs.
- Ensure timely, accurate month- and quarter-end close processes, fully aligned with IFRS and global compliance standards.
- Shape and drive financial strategy to support broader business goals, operational performance, and commercial success.
- Deliver clear, actionable insights through robust consolidated reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the board, offering strategic input into commercial initiatives and long-term planning.
- Embed finance as a true business partner across commercial and operational teams worldwide.
- Continuously improve reporting frameworks, control environments, and financial systems.
- Support international transactions, business cases, and M&A projects as needed.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, promoting cohesion across regional offices.
Your Profile
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with significant post qualified experience, operating at a senior level. You will need international experience, ideally having dealt with the US, Middle East and European entities. A candidate who is fluent in French is essential for this role. You will need a deep understanding of IFRS as well as a commercial insight to influence strategic decision making. Exposure to asset-heavy, trade-focused industries such as commodities, logistics, or structured services is a plus.
