I am currently partnered with a Lloyd's Broking firm who are seeking a Delegated Authority Technician to join their small, growing team. Working closely with Broking, Operations and Delegated Authority teams, you will be responsible for the accurate processing and management of premium and binder‑related activities across multiple classes of business.
My client is looking for someone with 1/2+ years in the Lloyd's Delegated space, and Atlas and DCOM experience is a must have for this position.
Key Responsibilities- Processing binder and delegated authority premium transactions
- Reviewing and validating bordereaux submissions
- Managing premium accounting activities in line with market requirements
- Maintaining accurate records within DCOM and Atlas
- Liaising with brokers, coverholders, MGAs and insurers regarding premium and technical queries
- Assisting with month‑end and reporting activities
- Monitoring premium settlements and outstanding items
- Supporting the wider operations and technical teams across multiple classes of business
- Building strong working relationships with clients and market stakeholders
- Attending client meetings where required
- Previous experience within a London Market insurance operations, technical or premium processing role
- Strong understanding of binder business and delegated authority arrangements
- Essential experience using DCOM
- Essential experience using Atlas
- Good understanding of Lloyd's and London Market processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
