I am currently partnered with a top quartile Syndicate who are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join their Casualty team, focusing on Cyber and Med Mal Claims, with wider exposure to other Casualty classes.
This role will be handling Claims within a Lloyd's environment from notice to settlement, across global jurisdictions including the US.
My client is looking for someone with 3-7 years Claims experience within the relevant classes, and someone who is familiar with ECF and Lloyd's Claims Schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management and handling of claims within the Casualty Claims division, including:
- Assessing coverage and quantum for individual claims within agreed authority levels, with appropriate referral to the Head of Casualty Claims where quantum is likely to exceed individual authority.
- Reviewing bordereau submissions to ensure accurate agreement and timely processing.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including Claims colleagues, Underwriters, Reinsurers, Actuaries and Management.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with external stakeholders, including brokers, loss adjusters, lawyers and TPAs.
- Ensuring claims are reserved and reported accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure adherence to internal guidelines, processes, procedures and relevant governance requirements.
- Attend external client and broker meetings as required.
- Participate in relevant networking and industry events to support the development of business relationships.
- Provide support with operational and administrative tasks as required.
