I am currently partnered with a leading Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriter to join their growing FinTech team. This role will be Underwriting PI, D&O and Crime risks for FinTech and Digital Asset clients within a Syndicate environment. My client is looking for someone with a solid background in Financial Lines/FI/FinTech Underwriting, someone with strong broker connections in the London Market and an entrepreneurial attitude to growing a portfolio in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite Professional Indemnity, D&O and Crime risks for FinTech and Digital Asset clients on behalf of a Lloyd's Syndicate.
- Assess complex, evolving exposures across emerging technologies, platforms and business models.
- Develop and grow a profitable portfolio through disciplined risk selection, pricing adequacy and opportunistic underwriting.
- Work closely with brokers to structure bespoke coverage, policy wordings and limits in a fast-moving market.
- Monitor market conditions, loss trends and regulatory developments impacting FinTech and digital asset risks.
- Track market trends, regulatory developments and loss drivers impacting FinTech and digital asset underwriting.
- Operate as a collaborative team member, showing resilience and a commitment to learning within a growing underwriting team.
