I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. This role will be adjusting Casualty Claims including but not limited to; PI, FI, D&O, Cyber, EL, PL and GL. My client is looking for someone who has extensive experience handling related Casualty Claims from worldwide jurisdictions within the Lloyd's Market. ECF and Lloyd's Claims System experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an allocated portfolio of claims across Financial and Casualty lines to achieve fair, timely, and effective outcomes for all interested parties, with a focus on reducing claims lifecycle times and minimizing static claims.
- Support the delivery of a consistent, high-quality claims service, ensuring all claims are assessed fairly and promptly in line with Lloyd's standards and internal service expectations, including ECF turnaround requirements.
- Assist in the production of internal and external management information and reporting, and support the operation of key claims controls (including aged claims, static claims, purge reports, and diary management).
- Contribute to overall portfolio profitability by ensuring claims are handled appropriately, subrogation opportunities are identified and maximized, and claims-related expenses are effectively controlled.
- Operate within agreed financial and non-financial claims authorities, including making appropriate referrals for declinatures, reservations of rights, and litigation matters, in accordance with established referral and governance processes.
- Provide support with reinsurance-related queries to facilitate timely recovery and accelerate claims payments.
