I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a (Junior) Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. This role will be adjusting Marine & Energy Claims on a worldwide basis from multiple jurisdictions.
My client is looking for someone who has experience handling Marine & Energy Claims arising from the London Market. The ideal candidate will have 1/2+ years experience in a Claims position in a Lloyd's environment and experience using ECF.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure syndicate claims are managed to high standards and in accordance with Lloyd's Minimum Standards, internal Claims Handling Guidelines, and agreed claims Key Performance Indicators.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to create value and protect interests through effective and timely claims handling.
- Support profitability by ensuring claims are managed appropriately, subrogation opportunities are maximised, and claims-related costs are tightly controlled.
- Manage allocated claims through to resolution, delivering fair outcomes for all stakeholders while minimising claim duration and reducing the number of static claims.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with external stakeholders, acting as an escalation point where required.
- Assist in the production of internal and external reporting and support the effective operation of claims controls.
