We have partnered with a leading Lloyd\’s/London Market insurer to find an Actuarial Analyst with entry level to 1 year of experience to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to broaden your actuarial expertise across core disciplines while progressing towards qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quarterly \”reserve\” process – assessing profitability of business lines and projecting Profit Commission receipts.
  2. Quarterly Underwriting Profitability Review process – reviewing areas of underwriting concern and the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  3. Review of individual lines and investigation of pricing strategies.
  4. Development of MI and rate monitoring.
  5. Discussions with carriers – reviewing past experience, current products, and future opportunities.
  6. Involvement in business planning, providing independent scrutiny and challenge.

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Bonus
