HFG is looking for a driven, ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our high-performing Actuarial team, placing top talent across the Insurance industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of 360 recruitment experience who’s ready to take ownership of a warm desk and build relationships with some of the most prestigious names in the insurance market.
About the Role:
- As a Consultant on our Actuarial desk, you’ll be recruiting mid to senior-level professionals across various Actuarial/risk roles and related areas for global insurers, reinsurers, consultancies, and Lloyd's syndicates.
- You’ll inherit a strong portfolio of clients and candidates, while also being given the support and freedom to grow your own relationships and niche within the Risk space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across the Actuarial function
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients and candidates
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking sessions
- Maintain and grow a candidate network of insurance professionals
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets
- Work closely with other consultants to cross-sell and collaborate
What We’re Looking For:
- 1–3 years of 360 experience in recruitment (insurance or professional services)
- A strong interest in the Insurance market – prior experience on Risk, Compliance, or Actuarial desks is a plus but not essential.
- Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition, resilience, and a desire to grow within a supportive environment
