Job Description

We are delighted to be partnered with a leading insurer in the Lloyd's market to recruit a Mixed Reserving & Capital Actuary to join their high-performing actuarial team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified or nearly qualified actuary looking to broaden their experience across both reserving and capital within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Lloyd's syndicates' reserving and regulatory filings
  • Peer review projections and assumptions from a legal entity perspective
  • Produce technical provisions and Standard Formula calculations for Solvency II and UK GAAP
  • Partner closely with the capital modelling team on Lloyd's capital submissions
  • Collaborate with pricing and FP&A on business planning and SBF assumptions
  • Support GAAP reserving exercises, finance controllers, and external consultants
  • Present findings to senior committees including the Syndicate Executive Committee and Board
