Head of External Reporting to lead their external reporting function and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, governance, and regulatory compliance across the Group.
Key Responsibilities for this Head of External Reporting role include
- Lead the preparation and delivery of the Group's statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Manage the year-end and interim reporting processes, coordinating with internal teams and external advisers.
- Lead the relationship with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and governance expectations.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the business.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing external reporting team.
- Partner closely with Finance, Tax, Treasury, Risk, and other senior stakeholders across the business.
- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls, and systems.
- Support strategic projects, acquisitions, and wider finance transformation initiatives.
Experience required for this Head of External Reporting role include
- Knowledge of financial reporting requirements, and GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
- ACA/CA qualified, ideally big four trained
