The Financial Reporting Accountant will take responsibility for the statutory and regulatory reporting obligations of the Luxembourg entity, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves close interaction with group finance, external auditors, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of statutory financial statements under Luxembourg GAAP
- Delivery of CAA regulatory reporting and related submissions
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with Luxembourg accounting and regulatory requirements
- Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and advisors
- Supporting year-end audit processes and regulatory reviews
- Improving reporting processes, controls, and documentation
- Supporting ad-hoc financial and regulatory projects as required
- Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Proven experience preparing accounts under Lux GAAP
- Exposure to CAA regulatory reporting (insurance or reinsurance background preferred)
- Strong understanding of Luxembourg statutory and regulatory frameworks
- Experience working with auditors and regulatory bodies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with stakeholders across locations
- Background in insurance, reinsurance, or broader financial services
- Solvency II reporting exposure
- Experience working in an international or group environment
