Claims Adjuster - Professional Indemnity and Financial Institutions

Key Responsibilitie
- sManage a portfolio of claims on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all related activities and tasks are handled efficiently
- .Assess coverage, liability, and damages to determine the level of exposure for both the insured and the company
- .Oversee and closely monitor instructions provided to external experts and defence counsel
- .Deliver exceptional customer service while developing and maintaining strong relationships with insureds, brokers, and business partners
- .Communicate coverage decisions and positions clearly and professionally to insureds
- .Establish and manage claim reserves within delegated authority limits
- .Prepare reports and provide updates to reinsurers and other insurance stakeholders
- .Assist business leaders with claims-related and underwriting matters as required
- .Attend mediations, settlement discussions, and court proceedings when necessary

Skills, Experience & Qualificatio
- ns4–6 years’ experience as a Claims Adjuster within the London Market, with a focus on Professional Indemnity and/or Financial Institutions claim
- s.Strong understanding of industry best practices, claims management processes, and systems, including EC
- F.Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, particularly in challenging or high-pressure situation
- s.Capable of working independently and managing competing priorities effectivel
- y.Experience working within the Lloyd’s market and/or Lloyd’s certifications would be advantageou
- s.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage professionally with customers and business partner
- s.Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with experience evaluating complex issues and reaching sound conclusions promptl
