We are recruiting on behalf of an established independent insurance brokerage that is looking to add an experienced IBA Accounts professional to its team.
This opportunity would suit someone currently working within an insurance broking environment who has strong hands‑on experience with Acturis and a solid understanding of IBA accounting processes.
The Role
IBA Account Handler
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
You will support the day-to-day IBA accounting function, with responsibilities likely to include:
- Processing insurer and client payments
- Cash allocation and reconciliation
- Insurer statement reconciliations
- Premium and commission processing
- Investigating and resolving account discrepancies
- Supporting aged debt and outstanding balances
- Working closely with broking and finance teams
- Maintaining accurate records within Acturis
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Minimum 3 years' IBA / insurance broking accounts experience
- Current or very recent experience working within an independent insurance brokerage
- Current hands‑on experience using Acturis
- Good knowledge of insurance broking accounting processes
- Strong reconciliation and problem‑solving skills
- Good attention to detail and communication skills
Salary
£40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.
