We are working with a leading specialty insurer to find a Risk Manager to help grow the team. FTC or day rate contract (Open) – Contract and Immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance Risk Management Framework and Risk Framework Policy.
- Support the business in identifying, managing, and measuring risk to include Insurance, Operational and Enterprise Risk issues.
- Keep the Risk Universe, Risk Register, and control documentation updated.
- Coordinate and support the risk and control assessment cycle with senior stakeholders through the firm.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Risk Management experience within the Lloyd’s or London Market insurance environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively with senior management, underwriters, and cross‑functional teams.
- Hands‑on experience configuring, deploying, and managing enterprise risk management platforms (“Decision Focus” experience is key).
- Highly analytical, proactive, organised, and detail‑oriented, with the ability to prioritise and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of prudential regulatory requirements (Lloyd’s, PRA, Solvency II/UK).
