Our client is a FTSE 250 listed insurance company. We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Compliance (SMF16) to lead the Compliance function and provide independent second-line oversight across the Group.
You will play a critical role in ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering strong customer outcomes, and providing strategic insight and challenge across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Oversight & SMF16 Accountability
- Compliance Strategy & Governance and advisory
- Third Party and Outsourcing Compliance
- Compliance Monitoring & Reporting
Requirements:
- Significant compliance leadership experience within General insurance
- Strong knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, Operational Resilience, SMCR and Conduct Risk
- Experience operating effectively at Board and Executive level
- A proven track record of managing regulatory relationships and inspections
