I am currently partnered with a leading Syndicate who are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join their Financial Lines team. This role will be handling complex PI & FI related losses from global jurisdictions including the US, UK, Canada and more. This will be a mix of primary and excess layers, including lead Claims and Claims Agreement Party arrangements. My client is seeking a Claims professional with 4-6+ years experience handling PI/FI Claims from a Lloyd's/London Market view. My client can consider Claims Brokers too.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of claims on a day-to-day basis, including all tasks arising from the caseload
  • Assess coverage, liability, and damages to determine the extent of exposure for both the insured and the company
  • Oversee and closely monitor work carried out by experts and defence counsel
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while building strong, long-term relationships with insureds, brokers, and partners
  • Communicate coverage positions clearly to insureds
  • Set and maintain reserves within delegated authority
  • Report to reinsurers and other insurance partners as required
  • Provide support to business leaders on claims and underwriting matters when needed
  • Attend mediations and trials as required
