We are exclusively partnering with one of the market's most respected Lloyd's syndicates in their search for a Senior Reserving Actuary. This is a unique and high-profile opportunity to join a high-performing actuarial team, working directly alongside the Head of Reserving and Chief Actuary to deliver key strategic responsibilities. You will take a leadership role in the reserving process across multiple classes of business, helping to set and oversee reserving methodologies, leading deep-dive analyses, presenting to internal and external stakeholders and building a talented team of actuaries. You'll play a vital part in supporting the business's continued profitable growth.

This role includes:

  • Leading the quarterly reserving analyses and reporting across multiple lines of business.
  • Challenging and enhancing current methodologies and assumptions to drive best practice.
  • Supporting the Head of Reserving with Board-level presentations and regulatory submissions.
  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the actuarial team.
  • Acting as a key liaison with underwriters, finance, claims, and capital modelling teams.
  • Supporting strategic projects, including new product launches and M&A activity where appropriate.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with Lloyd's, auditors, and external stakeholders.
