Are you technically sharp but stuck in a break-fix loop with nowhere to go? This role is for someone who loves technology - not just fixing what's broken, but understanding where it's heading and helping clients get ahead of it. HFBAC is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a family-founded MSP based in Bristol. They're not your typical MSP. Their values are genuinely lived, not pretty posters on the office wall. They've invested seriously in their team culture and they're actively building an AI and automation offer on top of a solid managed services foundation. If that kind of place sounds like somewhere you'd actually thrive - read on.
What your days will look like:
- You'll be the person clients trust with the complex stuff.
- Working from booked service desk jobs, you'll troubleshoot escalated issues, support M365 deployments and cloud migrations, and help clients with Cyber Essentials requirements.
- You'll also be involved in AI tool rollouts - primarily Microsoft Co-Pilot.
- The team is in the Bradley Stoke office every Wednesday - it's a culture thing, not a policy. The rest of the week is hybrid.
- You'll occasionally visit client sites (roughly 20% of your time at most, as and when needed), so a full UK driving licence matters.
- The office is within easy reach of Bristol, and you'll need to be within around 20 miles.
Who you are:
- You've got solid MSP experience - tools like HaloPSA, NinjaRMM, ConnectWise, SentinelOne or Huntress will feel familiar.
- You're comfortable with M365, cloud platforms and cyber security basics.
- More than any of that - you're the kind of person who always has a tab open learning something.
- You communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
- You like working as part of a close team.
- You're steady, reliable and you bring people with you rather than working around them.
- MSP experience is strongly preferred - but this client has hired their best person to date based on mindset over MSP pedigree.
- If you're newer to MSP environments but you learn fast and you can show it, we want to hear from you.
What's on offer:
- £30,000 on joining
- £32,000 - £33,000 after six months - a real post-probation uplift, not just a promise
- £35,000 option at 12 months as the clear next step
- Certifications and training supported - if a course makes sense for you and the business, they'll back it
- Hybrid working with a genuine Wednesday office culture
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off
- Company pension
- Team socials and a Christmas party
- A branded work wardrobe - and here's the bit that surprised us: you actually choose your own style from a range of shirts, polos, quarter-zips and sweatshirts.
About this company:
They're a family-founded business. Their values are embedded into how they actually work, not just written on a wall. They've been doing active culture and DISC profile work with their team because they believe the right people, well led, make for better outcomes. They're also growing - acquisition plans in motion, new locations on the horizon - so if you join now, you're joining at an interesting moment.
How this works:
This role is recruited exclusively through HFBAC. Every candidate has a Chemistry First conversation before they reach the client - so you'll have a real discussion about fit, not just your CV being forwarded blind. If it's right, you'll know. If it's not quite right for this one, we'll be honest with you about that too.
